Why are people still wasting money on XBox 360?

It's a dead system. It doesn't make sense to me that people are willing to flush $400 on a system that's inferior to PS3.

1. Too dumb to see that
2. They got no life so they buy videoconsoles (all of em hehe)
3. They got enough money
4. It's just a choice and everybody chooses something else...and make mistakes...

Dead system? Are you serious? People buy it because it has one of the best online services (Playstations cannot compare) and there aren't that many games exclusive to the PS3. Seeing as how the next GTA will be for 360 and PS3 at the same time thats a prime example. Also, the system is cheaper. I liked how someone above me stated that the PS3 is so expensive just because of the Blu-Ray function. It doesn't make sense to me that people are talking about the PS3 being almighty when most people don't even have one yet. But why am I bothering. Your clearly just a fanboy so logic means nothing to you.

Before you call me an XBOX fanboy, I still own and use a PS2. That said, people still buy 360s for a few simple reasons.
1) Performance. The games are good and the system works. XBOX Live has some great features too.
2) Availability. You can actually find a 360 in stores, good luck tracking down that PS3 and if you do find one...
3) Price. I'm not paying $500 for a console unless I'm actually in the games, most people don't care about Blu-Ray.

Don't go diving into PS3, Sony is already saying there won't be a PS4. Like it or not, it's Microsoft's world and we just live in it.

The PS3 is for idiots who think more expensive means better quality not realizing that the only reason they are paying one gagillion dollars on a lame system like the PS3 is because they are basically buy a Blu-Ray player, not a video game system. You'd have to be pretty thick to think that PS3 has the advantage in this console war just because it cost idiots so much. The fact being that the X-Box has sold the most (obviously since it has been out a year) and the Wii is doing better then the PS3 is just because idiots like you are in denial that Sony knows that people like you would pay $15,800,000,044,654 just to say that you have a system with great graphics and the same controller with a new button on it. That's how lame the PS3 is that the controller is the same as the original PS and the system itself is as bulky as an atari 2600.

Well for one thing it's not a dead system, it's still next a gen game console. And for another thing why would people be wasting $5-600 on the ps3 when most of the same great games are going to come out on the X-box 360.
(And just to beat you to the punch, GRAPHICS AREN'T EVERYTHING.)

ps3 IS a big waste of money not even worth buying considering that most its games are coming to the 360.the ps3 burns up to much more then the 360.the 360 is not a dead system, ps3 is.it's graphics SUCK!!! they dont look good at all compared to the 360.

It's cheaper than the PS3 and this time Microsoft seems to be able to compete with the competion. Also the appeal of its exclusive games is really strong. Plus people who are into online gaming tend to gravitate to the 360 because Microsoft knows what it is doing with Xbox Live because its had the time to percect it. And graphics are everything...just like the Wii, its all about gameplay and appeal to the masses.
