Portsmouth do have a huge gamble of qualifying for the uefa cup yet no longer the champions league next season.. The team is basically too shallow.. gamers like Kanu, taylor or campbell are not sufficient to win them prestigious awards like the uefa cup..

I think they have a very good chance if they keep Kanu healthy and scoring goals...he's a machine this year. They don't look like a top four YET, but they look like they very well could make the UEFA Cup. Even if they don't qualify through league standings, I think they could win their Intertoto Cup to advance if they qualified for that. They are a quality side and Redknapp has them playing out of their socks.

Yeah i think so, but i am biased being a Pompey fan myself, but lets face it apart from the top two who do we have to fear.....no one, we can go to Arsenal with one half fit striker and still score goals and create pressure, when we are back to full strength plus January signings we will still be able to compete easily, we've got where we are through hard work and a good team spirit and its not just a "good start to the season" now because we are nearly half way through, im sure we will get into Europe this season. Keep the faith, Matty Taylor for England, PLAY UP POMPEY!!

Looks likely...and why not? The usual teams (with squealing managers and forwards with better diving skills than their goalkeepers) shouldn't always have a look in. Look at it this way...they have top class players for top teams who have attained a 'second wind' at Portsmouth - James/Cole/Campbell, with the rest of the team who have determination to shine...could be the public haven't ultimately warmed to them (outside Pompey) because they are bereft of moronic 'Becks' (et al) auras. Hope they don't end up like Livingston - remember...they got into the Scots. Premier busting all in sight..but now find themselves a third of the way down Division 1.

It would be great if they could. I think Harry has done a great job so far and I think because he plays for Portsmouth Matthew Taylor is very under estimated

Their financial power doesn't garantee any place in europe but of course if they keep performing as well as they are, I have to say yes it's garanteed... But let's not forget that there are many teams improving game after game like; Tottenham, Bolton, Reading etc... So it's steal early to say who'll be there and who won't.

Tchao!

They are playing well enough and Harry has done a great job. It is a long haul but lets hope so cause they are much better than either Newcastle or Blackburn.
