Maharajah ranjit singh's forts
1. Phillour (distt Jalandar) now police academy
2.Bhatinda fort now under of Indian army
3.Bhadurgarh (distt patiala) fort now police academy
4.Jhan kila fort (distt. Hosiharpur) now police academy
5.Patiala fort
6.Anadpur shaib

Govindgarh Fort Amritsar : Early 19th century designed by Maharaja Ranjit Singh.Has special defence mechanism against artillery attacks, which were frequent when Punjab was still open to depredations of the Afghan hordes. Being with paramilitary forces it is not open to visitors now.

actually according to my knowledge no hill top forts seen in punjab but might be few ground based forts there in past but in war time and later demolished so forts are there punjab thnx .JAY.
