big car. i think they are safer they can overtake faster so your less time on the wrong side of the road. they are build stronger with bigger brakes, bigger tyres better suspension all things which could save your life. a bigger car should last longer as a bigger engine is under less pressure when doing same things as a small car, and generally is at lower rpm. there is normally more space in a bigger car. and unless you are mainly in heavy city traffic the economy is quite good

I bought it for several reasons 1st was driver seat view and comfort I find that the mirror blocks my view of the right side of the car in many new cars. 2nd was cost and 3rd was fuel economy and 4th was horse power. thus I have always bought Chevy more often than not. Now I own a 1996 Chevy Corsica with 3.1 liter engine. The 4 cylinder is too weak for Vermont hills. I usually buy sedans as the extra doors make carrying passengers that much easier. I have owned big a 1977 Chevy Caprice to tiny coupe 1989 Chevy cavalier and find that the best area is the zone between mid-sized and sub compact cars are best overall.

I drive both a small car and a larger mid sized SUV.
My daily commute is 80 freeway miles round trip and I find the Small car (2006 Mercedes SLK) easier to drive and much more fuel efficient. Since my commute is primarily freeway driving I am not concerned with the size as any form of protection. My mid sized SUV (2004 Explorer Sport Trac) is a 4x4 and is used to visit the remote desert property I have and for other recreation and general household hauling duties. Between the both, I have the best of both worlds.

My criteria are economy and comfort. I drive a small car that gets about 35 miles per gallon and is comfortable on long drives.

I drive a full size pickup. I like the room. I like the V8 power. I would rather "climb" in and "fall" out, then falling in and climbing out. (Like my wife's little car.) In an accident, my truck would fare better then the small car that hits me. Call me a jerk, but economy doesn't really factor in for me.

I have a license, but the public transit, Los Angeles, is good enough to not worry about driving. You develop patients waiting on some buses and trains, but you get reading and planning, etc. done.

You made me think of of whilst Gabriel Iglesias replaced into conversing with regard to the little VW Beetle he had and replaced into utilising it around, and pulled up in front of his acquaintances residing house and a guy referred to as to him and mentioned "howdy... howdy! how'd you get in there ese!"
