We have chinese christmas!! ITs sooo much fun! Somehow I always come up on the top! There are many ways to play, we do it this way:
maybe thirty or fourty people, all bring a gift at a certain set price $20. or so,
Then everyone picks a number,
Then the person who picked #1 grabs any gift they want and opens it, then number two goes, and number three, now the rules are:
If someone grabs a gift the next number in line wants then it can be stolen ( up to 3 times ) then the other person has to choose another gift, or steal one from another person and so on. Last year I choose the last number so it can be good and bad, I would get to pick from all the gifts except for the ones that were stolen 3 times and locked with that last person who stole it.
So its really fun and everyone normally gets somthing they want! Try it and have a Merry Christmas!

Every year, my family opens gifts early in the morning, eats a huge meal , and then we always head over to my grandma's house and eat again!lol. This year will be different though, because this is my first year having my OWN personal family, so I will be cooking, and getting to enjoy my son's first Christmas.

Nothing too special. Open gifts on Christmas Eve. Attend dinner with friends and family. Not so big on this time of the year. Reminds me of how alone people are, seeing everyone celebrate and being happy with their families.

In my family we get all the girls together on a Saturday afternoon and make Gingerbread houses. We use graham crackers for the base and edible glue to hold it all together. We buy the bulk Christmas candy and add other favorites like licorice, cereal for the roof, coconut for snow, and marshmallows to make snowmen in the front of the house. We also buy pretzel rods to make a log cabin if that is your wish.
We have a great time, make a huge mess and laugh all day. It is fun to see how each individual one turns out.
Merry Christmas!

My friend and I have a craft sale every year, and donate the proceeds to the local food bank.
Our sons live far away, so we call them on Christmas morning and open gifts while we're on the phone.

my hubby is in the service, so we have christmas early, this year we had it a week before its actually christmas. he is home for his r&r.

last year we saved alot of money cause we didn't do christmas, we were apart from each other then.

WHEN we do have a christmas together, we decorate the tree, hopefully no ornaments get broken next year, and we have ham and potatoes and stuffing and pumpkin pie.

we just enjoy being together and being able to hold and cuddle with each other!
