In my opinion, the blacks are lazy and wont help them selves. Was it a mistake to get rid of white rule in South africa, as the system that replaced it is just as corrupt and racist, Crime has doubled and the police turn a blind eye to most crime that is committed against a white, The police force is corrupt to, incapable of dealing with the amount of crime commited by blacks, aids is rife because the blacks have not come out of the trees yet. Actually by the lack of education and intelligence as well as lack of experience in your rant (I don't think it was even a real open minded question), I would say that you are not better than the people you rant about.
Donation of time and money to the less fortunate can do a great deal of good not only for them but also for us. This is what we call "character" and "compassion". In order to be viewed as a 'good' country by the rest of the world, you need to act in a fair and compassionate way towards others.
Laziness does not come in colors--it depends on individual people and their personalities. Personality is shaped by family AND by environment. Thus the causes of the crimes are the types of environment these people live in and NOT the color of their skin.
Thus because of the environment YOU grew up in allowed you to make an ignorant question/rant without knowing the TRUE meaning of compassion in a multicultural society.
Pure white rule was damaging to our country because they restricted rights from Americans--so to answer your question/rant, NO, I don't think it was a mistake to get rid of white rule in South Africa and NO I don't think people there are lazy. They were just born into the wrong environment which is the cause of their suffering.

The blacks are not more or less lazy than any other broad group of people. If you think crime is bad there take a look around you in this country. There are corrupt officials in every society. This is not new. but to deal with it u have to have a very strong person with nerves of steel..or a revolution. As to the AIDS thing. I think u can track this back to the WHITE people over there gathering animals to send to the rest of the world. The sick ones they put on an island because was cheaper than disposing of them. Well then the illnesses mutated. Now you not only have AIDS but Ebola which scares the AIDS virus. So get your facts straight before u start saying that one race or the other is to blame for anything...No race in the world is immune to corruption and greed nor malice. Remember the white race were the ones responsible for the Holocaust. Please reexamine your thinking

I dont agree entirely with what you say - I dont think its the people of Africa that are corrupt but more like the government that are the corrupt ones. I dont however see any improvement in these countries despite money being thrown at them for years. SUrely money spent on sterilising the women and teaching widespread about aids would be a good start. xxxxxxxx

The problems there are more that the nation is chaotic and impoverished. A chaotic impoverished white country would have the same issues. They are trying to help themselves, but in many cases the Africans that are trying to help get gunned down by tribesmen with AK-47s.
AIDS is ripping the country apart because Africans don't have access to education and condoms.
Following your racist reasoning, wouldn't you rather have Africa at least be stable so we can get things like diamonds more efficiently?

Yes, most definitely after all where will it all end. It doesn't matter how much we send them, I agree with you, they are too lazy and not prepared to help themselves. We have tried to educate them as well in contraception, water preservation and many other areas but they just don't want to know. Aid from the Uk has to stop now!

No the U.S. government should not be donating money to anyone. There is no constitutional authority for the government to tax its own people, then give those proceeds away. As for the kleptocracy in Africa and whether or not the colonial system should have been dismantled so quickly that is another question.

Some would say that we as a nation should not donate money to any foreign power. These same people would say that it is not the government's place to take citizens' money and pay it out to other country's people. Philanthropy should only be performed by individuals by their own choice.
