For all of my ultrasounds (so far 4 between 16-28 weeks) I have been totally clothed they just pulled down my pants to above my pubic bone, pulled my shirt up to the top of my stomach and put a towel so no one could see anything. My father in law was even in the room when they did my last ultrasound. Good Luck sweetie.

At my ultrasound I undressed from the waist down, but was given a gown to throw on over myself plus they gave me a blanket to cover up with. I was never 'exposed'. They lifted my shirt up and uncovered down to my pubic bone to check the baby. Then I covered up and they did a very quick vaginal ultrasound to check my cervix. I had people in the room with me and never felt uncomfortable, and nobody saw anything they weren't supposed to.
It depends on what your OB requests. Mine wanted pictures of the cervix (even though there was no evidence of something wrong) just to see its condition.
Best of luck!

You'll have to pull the waist of your pants down to just above your pubic bone, but the u/s tech will cover you up with a towel and fold it under your waistband to prevent them from getting any goop on your clothes. Also, you have to pull your blouse up to just below your breasts. Basically you're exposing your abdomen from just under your breast bone to just above your pubic bone.
If I were you, I'd get over your fear of being partially unclothed right now. When you go to deliver your baby, you're going to have more people reaching up inside you, spreading your legs, looking at you, etc. than you care to imagine. :)
Good luck, and I hope everything goes well at your ultrasound.

no they usually just lift your shirt to the bottom of your breasts and they will put a rag of somesort tucked into your pants so none of the gel gets on them, and then they do the ultrasound, its pretty simple. and they will tell you if its a girl or a boy as long as baby is being cooperative. LOL
good luck

not completely undressed--really you don't undress at all, wear a loose fitting top and elastic band pants--the tech will lower your pants to just below your belly but above your pubic bone and will move the top up to just under your breast--you can always request that they prep you first then allow those you have chosen to be in the room to come in

if you have to take off anything at all, it will just be from the waist down and you will be covered with a paper sheet. they may just ask you to undo your jeans and raise your shirt and then cover you. i think it depends on the dr. it should not be weird at all. you will not have any thing embarrasing showing. your stomach may be seen some but that should not be embarrasing.
