The article was about a guy who had made a "bike" consisting of one(1) big "monstertruck tire" with a engine in the middle an a seat on front/top. there was a picture next to it. As I remember it looked really junkyard style, all rusty . I cant seem to find it anywhere anymore. does anyone know of it or know of photo's or even video?

Go to the library, and ask the librarian to show you the "Reader's Guide to periodical literature" and you can search for the subject of the article for around the time you first saw the article.

Yeah, I've seen the original, and within the last year, a newly made one that looked just it. Darned if I could tell you where to look, tho. Maybe a search for a powered unicycle or somesuch ?
