A chick that always jokes around w/ me put a piece of paper on my desk that said Doofis. She said I would understand more once I saw the above movie. is there anything i'm missing here?

Not sure where she's trying to go with that one ... but I just watched the movie the other day ... either she's really into you ... or she's just letting you know she doesn't have those "special" feelings towards you ... I'd ask her flat out what the hell was she talking about ... girls are so confusing ... lol ... go with your gut ... if she's real flirty with you and always hanging around you - go for it ... if you two do girly things together ... like shopping, baking, gossiping ... etc ... you're just a great friend that she adores ... !

You arent missing anything if you know that the point shes trying to get across is that y'all are JUST FRIENDS...in the movie the guy and girl are best friends in high school but the guy is in love with the girl...and totally gets humiliated in front of the whole school for it...cuz hes well...a bigger guy. Then he moves out of town and doesnt return for several years-after he becomes a big shot new york business man and extremely attractive so on and so forth...the girl is pretty much being blunt

I saw the movie a while ago... She probably is just joking around and thinks of you as her friend.

It has been awhile since I have seen that movie but I am thinking that she may want more than friends you may need to rent the movie to be sure.
