A lot of it is coming from that TNA hired Russo as their head writer. Russo was the guy writing for WWF during the Attitude era and the monday night ratings war with WCW. This whole VKM bit is pretty much like what they were doing with DX in that era, right up to them trying to invade a WCW house show .

TNA has never legitimately competed with WWE as far as ratings go. Vince did not bring back DX because TNA was winning any ratings. They (TNA) have a lot of talented guys on the roster as well as some not so talented guys. What may very well kill TNA is what's called "The Patterson Effect". Some moderately talented guys are getting pushed because they are bag lapping the promoters, writers and bookers while some of the more talented guys are getting undercard matches. Another downfall could be "Bischoffs Syndrome" where you have some guys on the roster that you really just can't afford. TNA may or may not survive. They certainly have the roster to make a long run and a valiant try. But they don't have the finances or the legitimate ratings to do any serious damage to Vince.

BG James(Road Dogg) and Kip James(Billy Gunn)helped make DX what it is but WWE are destroying DX,HBK doesn't like being apart of DX because he is a newly born christian and so it's not going the way Vince would like it.WWE brought DX back because TNA were getting the better ratings(WWE brought back ECW for the same reason)but DX hasn't helped WWE's ratings like Vince would of liked.
Road Dogg and Billy Gunn helped DX become what it is today and they don't like DX being destroyed so they are standing their ground.
It's nothing to do with ratings and TNA is making it's own talent and that's why TNA is the new No.1 wrestling company.

TNA is lacking the attitude I first thought they had and by trying to get the WWE's attention, they're making more enemies than friends.
Is TNA the answer to a wrestler after he/she leaves the WWE?? Maybe.... maybe not.

TNA is one of the best wrestling brands out there and their wrestlers technical ability to pull off moves is right up there with wwe's wrestlers so that means that all they want to do is to get people to watch their show and if they keep trying to do different random things to do that then eventually people will catch on and watch and then they will eventually like TNA enough to watch it as well as wwe.
