VICE is always good for the sake of immediate pleasure OR the sake of immediate pain-resolution. I commit adultery against my wife, thats VICE, but I got my immediate sexual passions allievated and received immediate pleasure from it, or my blues about my wife temporarly went away. So if you consider these immediate "pleasures" "Good things" then thats what VICE is "good" for.

Aristotle said that a life lived from VICE cannot ever give a man a truly flourishing happiness, or eudamonia. This only comes from a life lived in VIRTUE. There is also the idea that you can practice a virtue to a certain extreme that you become a crazy person as well. Therefore, we must live in balance between the extreme virtue and the extreme vice.
