They are 99% accurate...but it all depends on your body.
Some women dont start producing enough pregnancy hormone to give an accurate reading at 14 days post ovulation. I'd say wait a couple more days and if your period hasnt started, test again.
It also depends on the brand of test you use....most tests measure 25 on the HSG....most women dont have that # in their system until they are at least 3-5 days late.

Home pregnancy tests are accurate (at least they were the three times that I used them, I have three kids now). It is possible to get a false negative on a home pregnancy test. If I were you I would wait maybe another three to five days and take the test again. If it is still showing a negative result and you still feel pregnant, and haven't had your period, I would strongly recommend going in to see your doctor. They will run their own tests, and if you aren't pregnant there may be something else wrong that you should have checked by a doctor anyway. Best of luck to you.

For me, NO!! :) For three months I took home pregnancy tests (all negative) and then dismissed it as just irregualr periods. I had no other symptoms (nausea, tiredness, etc) and even had a urine test in the doctor's office--negative!! Because of the missed periods for so long, the doctor ordered a blood test that confirmed I was in fact pregnant!! I thought for sure it would have come up on a home pregnancy test!! This was just my case, though. Good luck and also trust your instincts!! :)

They are pretty accurate, but false negatives can happen (false positives, on the other hand, are quite rare). I tested 14 days after I ovulated and it was negative, but at 19 days after ovulation it was positive. I've heard of other women taking even longer to get a positive result. You could either wait another few days, or go to the doctor to get a blood test done.

At home pregnancy tests are very accurate, but false positives are more rare than false negatives. If you are sure you are, or even think you might be, despite the test, see your ob/gyn. A blood test will be conclusive and 100% accurate.

some tests are made for after your missed period. which wouldn't have been 2 weeks after conception, maybe... you need to test again after your missed period.
OR get an early test... that can screeen for the pregnancy hormones even earlier...
those tests are pretty accurate, you need to read the box and make sure you get the right kind for the length of time you tink you are pregnant

They are 98 - 99% accurate if used properly. Wait another week and test again. If you still haven't gotten your period and it still shows negative, test at your clinic.
