Because we mix up perfection and love. It they aren't prefect then they can't love me perfectly. It takes away from the love we think we deserve for the love we give. If we hold back our hearts grow cold and yet if we give our all we risk everything. We want to feel safe in our love, but also the passion and excitement of risking too much. Loving someone is trusting them and being in love with someone is trusting them completely. At this moment I love my wife, but at times I'm in love with her. Loving is walking the razor's edge between loving too much and not enough, between fear and trust. Picture a tight rope walker without a safety net walking this line and now some one is gluing a penny to his balancing beam. It only a penny, but if he loses his balance he loses everything.

Because the stakes are higher!

I find that a lot of the time, when I get aggrivated by a small thing, such as; someone throwing their clothes on the floor and not in the hamper.

My present mood makes all the difference. If I'm tired and irritated then the response will be ugly, well not ugly but my tact will be poor and I'll probably yell.

If I'm in a good mood and I'm well rested, I'll brush it off.

Consider your mental state, hungover, on drugs, tired, angry. Those will play a major factor in little things, the best thing to do is not sweat the little things...

Another thing is something called systematic desensitization. You first yell, then you yell and point then you yell and point an slap, then you yeal point slap and punch, over time you get desensitized to the way you treat eachother. Try to bring everything down to a calm level.

because life moves so fast, we often do not take the time to relax and think about how special how loved ones are.we are too busy living life fast paced. WE get aggravated easier because of that.Things set you off quicker, when you are rushed with work, dinner, collage, kids, dinners, house-chores etc. Then with all that making time to spend quality time together without all the mess and fuss of life. You need a family night to just relax watch TV, play games and just be without any thing to worry about. Everyone is much more friendlier than.

Because we are within our comfort zone, we can be ourselves. So when things are bothering us, we lash out at those that are the closest. We know how far we can push and still be loved unconditionally. And the things that bother us may not be the real issue, learn to get to the root of the problem and then the little things wont matter so much. God bless****

Because they are the ones we are the closest to. They are the ones who see us for us. Sometimes we don't want to listen to ones who are closest to us because we don't want to admit they are right--when a friend can tell us exactly the same thing and we listen!!!
