Gift certificates, but not everyday average ones, how about to their fav. restaurant, spa, hobby store... Since I don't know what is in your area... Get them something they wouldn't get for themselves. If you want to make a lowly gift card fun turn it into a scavenger hunt. These gift cards are boring, but how you give them can really liven things up!

I gave my cousin and her husband a gift basket with a couple dvd's some popcorn and candy . Like a movie night thing. Gift card to a video rental store work too
