SLI will not improve your gaming experince by very much. However, are you getting the 50fps with all the settings turned to the maximum? With counterstrike I would think that you would be getting around 50fps on maximum settings. If you play any newer games such as Battlefield 2142 then going to SLI would benefit you greatly as well as going up to either 1GB or better yet 2GB of RAM.

Unless you upgrade to the new GeForce 8800 Series graphics card you will not be able to see any increase in performance from viewing movies. This is because only nVidia's newest series supports HDCP.

If you are going to upgrade videocards, I would suggest getting a GeForce 8800 GTX as a single card outperforms any 7000 or 6000 series SLI setup.

Going SLI won't make that big of a difference- all it does is improve framerate, not image quality (although in some games you could turn on higher detail or Anti-aliasing and maintain high framerates)

You're better off with a 7950GT (which is essentially two cards in one slot) or waiting for prices to come down on the 8800 series..

Keep in mind, for SLI (dual Nvidia cards) the motherboard must support it, and they have to be the exact same model.
