first, have someone call them out to you,, see which ones you have correct,, then make a new list of the ones you dont know,,,,, go over/study them,,,,, then either have someone call them out to you again,,,, or break them down into sets of about 10,, have them called out, study the ones you dont know,,,, main thing is to narrow it down to what you dont know,,,,, also, writing them 5 times each helps,,,,,
do you mean the spelling of them or the definition or both?

Use index cards.

* Important: Separate nouns, verbs, adjectives (you may write in different colors) and study each group separately, so you can directly compare and contrast any words that you get confused with each other.

On the front of the card, write the word, part of speech, and "key word" (something you can use to remember it, such as underlining the root word/prefix/suffix and writing down that meaning).

On the back of the card write the definition and "sample sentence" on the back that will give you a context for remembering how the word is used. Note: If you can write 20 sentences using all the words, you can type those on a sheet and memorize those.

As you review the cards, set aside the words you get every right without thinking in one stack, the ones you keep getting wrong or drawing a blank in another stack, and the ones you get right sometimes but not always in another stack. Go through the hard ones first, and add or change your notes until you can get these without trouble. Review the intermediate ones the same way. Then go through all the cards and make sure you can get them all without getting any confused or drawing blanks.

I would group them together in anyway that would help you to recall them. So subdivide the words and study them and then writes down the definitions or at least a concept word for the definition. Walk away and go back to see if you can write the definitions again. I know this might sound boring and like a lot of work but I am a pro with cramming last minute and still getting A's and this is what works for me. WISH YOU THE BEST!

Ten at a time. Memorizing 100 sounds hard, but you can do 10, right?

Do 10. Then do the next 10, but go back and make sure you haven't forgotten the first 10. And so on.

Just get off yahoo answers and start memorizing--try writing them down or find funny associations with the defination. Good luck.

write them down, say it aloud, record them on tape player and play them over and over and over, repeat with the tape player aloud, in between ask some one to examine you... repeat this with the words that are harder to memorize... after couple of hours of study have a break... then go at it again
AND do not forget to eat well and drink - you need extra energy

Keep writing them over and over again. That's how I memorize foreign words.

My teacher told me that, "Repitition is the key to memorization". What i do to memorize thing is i say them over and over to my self while looking at the paper. That way, i'm SEEING it on the paper, i'm HEARING myself say it, i'm READING it off of the paper, and i'm SAYING it to myself. The more senses that you can use to help yourself, the better chance you have to remember it, so get memorizing, you can do it!

Writing the words and there meaning on index cards has always helped me. It sticks to your brain because you have to write it, see it, and you can read it aloud which is auditory. Hope it helps. Praying does help also.
