traditionally, that's the female who has been seen to blame for the working of the family individuals, on a regular basis care of the little ones and so on. It has as a result been much less properly-known for the guy to stay at residing house on an analogous time as the female is going out to paintings. even with the undeniable fact that, presently, as far as i'm conscious, the two guy and lady are meant to be out at paintings all day. i do no longer think of that's socially ideal for the two one to be at residing house. the little ones are meant to be in daycare. it relatively is the fashionable way. I doubt that those days that's lots extra ideal for a girl to be at residing house than a guy. we are all meant to pass back to paintings after the toddler is born, like peasant women folk who supply delivery interior the fields and pass directly back to their labour. we are all peasants those days.

Silly monkeys. As long as someone wants to do this job in the relationship then I don't think it matters whether it is the husband or the wife.

Of course it's acceptable and I commend you for doing this. In these times where a woman can often earn equal if not more than a man then why not ?? Also, why is always assumed that a woman is the better at keeping a home and caring for kids - I know single fathers that are doing a grand job and they dont moan half as much as some women. You go for it love and a Merry Christmas to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I think it's great, if you and your wife are both happy with it. I really think people should be able to structure their family lives as they see fit, in terms of who works and who looks after the home. Anyone who gives you a hard time for it should get a life.

In my opinion today it would be incorrect to define what a woman's job would be. Besides if you were to account monetarily for all the day in and day out activities that are connected to running a household these days it would be astronomical and because of that it would be a huge saving as well. So; the answer to your question in my opinion is yes continue to be a household husband if it works for you and your wife.
