i got 7 female tetras from my unle all i know is they have three close slightly tinged blue stipes along their stomach. Can you help me befor they die? please!!! :(

Why would they die? Take care of them. They sound to me like neon tetras:

They should also be blue tetras:

Anyway, most tetras are easy to care for. A 10 gallon tank would be quite sufficient.
If your fish haven't yet been identified, take a trip to your local fish store and see if you can spot them. Or, take a pic, and post it.

Why would they be dying? They sound like neon tetras but also they inject different colors into fish with needles to help sell them to people who know nothing about fish.. could be something like that..

Only thing I can think of is neon tetra but they have one stripe. Take the fish to a fish store, they can answer your question.

They could be almost anything but neons are the most common tetra available checkour www.liveaquaria.com and www.thatpetplace.com (aquatic livestock section) and see if you see a pic of them under tetras.

Maybe a neon tetra. look up tetra pictures.
