Here in Sacramento California it is nearly illegal to smoke in any public building.

There have been laws proposed to make it illegal to smoke in a home or vehicle with children and that land lords could restrict your ablility to smoke in your rented residence.

the land of the free unless someone else doesn't like it...

I'm a non smoker, but come on. If I want to smoke in my own home, too bad. I pay taxes I'll do what ever I want in my house. With my kid.

What are they going to do next? Tell me I can't spank my kid? Tell me what morals to teach my kid? oh wait... they already do...

Isn't there some book.. big brother or something like that..

I'm a republican... I'm not taking anyone's rights away.. it's the liberals and democrats who are taking away the rights.. they are the ones destroying our constitution.

I'm not a smoker, but I think that is so stupid. If someone wants
to smoke in the privacy of their own home or car then be it, whom are we to tell them not to smoke in there own Private place. People think because they work in a higher position they
can do what ever they want but hell No, we all live here and we
should all have a say so. But then again that is the problem now a
days some people don't go out to vote because of the fact that
they don't want to be turn down, well how are they do expect
to win if they don't vote? As long as they smoke in their own little
world then it won't bother me. It does bother me when then blow
in my face or near me I have Asthma ans so does my family
members.

ok-so then can they make it illegal for obese parents/children to go to McDonalds? Will they force them to exercise? I would hope tobacco isn't "illegalized", because it is ones choice to smoke...I understand public places (I don't agree with banning it in bars though) but I think that there is a line there somewhere that really shouldn't be crossed.

Well, I think that over time the places where you can smoke will become more and more restircted.

But to outlaw smokeing in total and make it illegal? I doubt that the goverment will ever be able to pass off any kind of bill like that. Its almost like making gasoline illegal. Both buisnesses have too much capital to make it easily feaseable.

i do no longer desire changing the present rules allowing tobacco and alcohol use and prohibiting particular unlawful medications. i think of we could enforce those rules greater intelligently than we do. i'm a former smoker, having stop in 1971 after approximately 12 years of smoking. i do no longer in easy terms like the habit, do no longer opt to be around it, yet I comprehend what drives human beings to smoke. 2nd-hand smoke kills, yet greater relevantly, it additionally irritates eyes, nasal passages, and stains clothing and furniture. it may be very puzzling to outlaw it thoroughly. I regularly desire the present direction of proscribing its use to particular aspects. i would not desire legalizing marijuana via fact its smoke is as undesirable as or worse than tobacco. it may make sense to locate yet differently to effectively ingest the chemical ingredients in marijuana that reason the outcomes human beings get exhilaration from, yet--returned--this must be studied notably thoroughly earlier that fluctuate is made. The regulation regularly won't be able to do a impressive purchase to guard us from ourselves. it is as much as us to guard ourselves. The regulation can and can shelter human beings from the movements of people, in spite of the undeniable fact that, and a serious enforcement attempt makes plenty greater sense than greater new rules.
