kids believe in Magic. what a wonderoius thing. as adults we have forgotten how to believe in things we can't see, touch, feel, with our own eyes and hands. Santa's message is gerosity, caring, and give kids a sense of wonder.
"Never say never" should be the slogan for parenthood.
Santa Claus is love and love is real
Santa is magic and sooner or later everyone understands that there is a trick to all magic. When children begin to understand magic tricks, they figure out the trick to Santa.

Children love to believe in Santa Claus! When they receive a Christmas gift from Santa, it is verification that they have been good and are loved.
Santa Claus is based on St. Nicholas, who was a bishop of Myrna in what is now modern day Turkey. He became a saint because of his extraordinary love and generousity towards children and the poor.

Kids? Why do kids believe in santa claus? I believe in santa claus! I'm a parent myself and I've been part of the miracle and once I understood how it all worked I truly understood the meaning of christmas. It's the spirit we believe in, the fact that amazing and wonderful things can happen in the world.
I'm sorry if your parents weren't able to teach you that.

I don't know. But I know that I'm 22 and if I don't believe in Santa I don't get presents. That could be the issue.

Yeah, kids do still believe, and I myself try to keep my kids believing as long as posible. It's fun to believe in magic, and kids have a natural wonder about them that makes them want to believe, even when they question the possibilities.

When we are small it is easy to believe in magic and what better magic than a fat old man that laughs and gives gifts? Life soon loses is magic as we get older.
