Haha, I saw that happen on an episode of Curb Your Enthusiam!! Don't know if you wathc that show, it's really funny. Anyway the main guy (Larry) wants to sleep with this Jewish woman (the type you mentioned) and so he brings the sheet with a hole but she shouts at him and says "How can you believe that $hit". So funny. Besides the show I'd say that only the very orthodox Hascidic Jews would go through the hole thing (excuse the pun).

Not true. Hasidim do believe in separation of the sexes, much like devout Muslims do. But a Hasidic man is free to sexually interact with his wife, so long as she is not in her menstruation cycle, and she has taken what is called a "mikvah" (ritual bath) following her period.

Socially however, devout Orthodox (Hasidim are Orthodox) Jewish males will try to interact as little as possible with non-related females, will prefer not to shake hands with a woman, oftentimes won't make eye contact on the street with a woman, and , in some communities, they will cover their eyes or even cross the street and walk to the other side if they see an unveiled (or "immodestly dressed") woman walking towards them. Even amongst their own communities, the men and women remain separated at any social functions by something called a "mechitza". And of course, it goes without saying, at the synagogue men and women may not worship together, nor may a woman (and again, this is only in the Orthodox communities) approach the "bimah" (the elevated platform where the person reading the Torah stands during the reading of the designated Torah portion).

Yes- absolutely true. It's so they're not contaminated by her menstrual blood or other such cooties and girl-germs. I would too if I were a Hascidic man.
They also make their women wear 'The Bag of Eternal Beauty' during fore-play and the entire period of the Consummation of the Marriage.
True story- Jews invented the first Glory Holes.
