Your car is like your home. You feel safe there, and feel as though anything that you do is your own business. Just as at home you are likely to show more emotion than you are to show in public. I am sure if you think about it that there are at least a few things that you do at home and/or in your car that you would not do in public.

because people feel safe when they're in their car.. you've got walls of metal and glass on all sides of you.. when you're out in person, if you give someone the finger, you're liable to get punched..

the funny thing is that my dog will bark up a storm at other dogs while we're in the car, but when we're out walking she's very timid.. so it's not just humans who do it ;)

the spatial separation of the car acts as a buffer. we say and do things in the safety of our homes that we wouldn't want others to see us do. in the car, you know you are somewhat removed, physically, from others in the world around you. plus you're mobile and you can flick someone off, drive away, and not have to deal with the consequences!

you do no longer ought to worry relating to the parking, as fortuitously no person owns the line yet.... and to this point as giving the finger, jointly because it particularly is an glaring insult (possibly given rightfully), it is not violating any regulations. So do no longer worry, you will no longer have any criminal checklist started :)

Having control of all that horsepower gives them a sense of power they don't have when they are not behind the wheel.

I guess they just feel powerful behind the wheel. Personally drives me nuts, if you're going to dish it out be able to back it up. ♥
