Get some pine tar soap at the drugstore and wash with it. Then use Caladryl - or something similar. Don't scratch and take antihistamines for relief form itching - to some extent, anyway. The antihistamines will also help with swelling, etc. If it gets too bad, see a doctor for a short term steroid treatment: 3-days, all gone!

your daughter is available spreading the poison ivy by using scratching. For an exceedingly intense case that would not respond to Benadryl and calamine, she would would desire to make certain the Dr. and get some Prednisone

Has that monkey started paying you rent, yet???
Anyway....I would probably lure the monkey outside with scooby snacks and then trip it into a barrel of calomine lotion. Nothing more fun than a barrel full of a pink monkey......Make him stay in it for a few hours every day.
Good luck!

Mild rashes from poison ivy, oak, and sumac plants can be treated at home and mostly cause discomfort from itching, burning, or blistering. Severe, widespread rashes require medical treatment.

Cat says wrap that sucker in plastic and soak him down with Benadryl. Actually, Kmart has something called 'itch stop' for it. Ask the pharmacist. Dragon will need it for her wings before long, especially if she messes with that monkey.
Yer welcome!

Razor blades. Lots and lots of razor blades. Oh, and rubbing alcohol, too.
