It could be a popup blocker or the Firewall program you are using. In either case you need to allow the Bank site in either program(s).

I don't believe it is one of the most common popup blockers (IE, Yahoo, Google) since they notify you of blocked popups from sites. IE has a bar drop below the IE toolbar. Yahoo has a starburst appear on the popup blocker Icon and Google has a number and then the word blocked appear in their popup blocker Icon.

For IE go into the Tools>Internet Options>Privacy tab>Popup Blocker settings button>add the site. Or, when the bar drops down click on it and then click the Allow option.

For Yahoo: When the starburst appears click the Icon>select Alway Allow popups from this site>in this window highlight the site listed in the top box>Allow.

For Google: Click the popup blocker Icon when it notifies you it blocked one. Nothing else needs be done.

This makes me believe it is your Firewall program blocking the site you need. For this you will need to go into the Help of the Firewall programs and read how to allow the site.

I read these answers and they are good ones IF it is a popup blocker situation, which by your question you only "think" it may be this. I need to add that depending on your cookie settings logging onto certain sites could become impossible. Cookies hold password data and if not set at just the correct setting it denies the cookie and therefor the logon.

I had a simular experiance logging onto a site and it took me forever to figure out what was causing my problem. It turned out to be my cookie settings. Everytime I put my username and passowrd in it just popped me right back to the logon screen.

I checked all sorts of settings and finally realized I had upped my cookie setting to medium high the prior week. I set it back down to meduim, which is the reccomended setting and I finally was able to log on to the site.

Check your cookie setting if none of these popup blocker settings work in solving your issue. Make sure it is set to medium and then try logging on again.

Good luck and a very merry christmas to you!

Edit: You can temporarily disable the pop-up blocker, by holding the Ctrl key down, then click the link..

if you have Internet security software make sure it doesn't have ad blocking that is enabled. ad blockers aren't the same as popup blockers and sometimes block things you want to view.

Try depressing the "ctrl" button when clicking on the site. Sometimes, this will allow the site to appear.
