when i right click on it there is no option to delete, i have asked this question already today and some answers told me to try something called ms-dos, i don't know how to do this I'm new to computers can someone help please

i cant even play this file windows media player says it cannot find the file, and i also tried deleting it in safe mode but it wont move

Try just clicking it once, then pressing the delete key.
If it says that it is in use - re-boot your PC and try again.

Just click it Once & Press Delete Button.. If Still it Stays.. Then Click that Mpeg file again & Press Alt+Delete.. If still it Stays then Start the Computer Once again.. & Keep pressing F8 key.. So then U will get 10 Options to Choose From on Screen.. Choose Start with Safe Mode.. Once Ur In Safe Mode U will b able to Delete the File... If Still it Stays Then Ur Doomed.. Click on the name of the file then press the delete key.
If it says that the file is in use you need reboot your PC and try again.
If even so, it was unable to deleted the file,
reboot your PC and try to enter in the Safe Mode.
When in the safety mode click on the name of the file then press the delete key.
To enter safe mode, press F8 while your computer is booting.
It will show a black screen with the safe mode option. Choose it.

I've been there lol
assuming your using xp I'll try and help
in the passed this happened to me while down loading from lime wire i guess you have been doing much the same thing
go into search (you will find this in start)
type in system restore
once this file has been found open it up and put a date in it to before you down loaded the file
follow the on screen instructions and this should remove the file
this takes a few minutes
your PC will reboot it's self
after you have done this give your PC a virus scan to be safe
it's easier than it seems i would panic if anything like this happened to my PC

make sure the file is not in use. you cant delete a file if its opened. make sure you close all media player windows like windows media player, real player, etc.

I had the same problem a while ago.if you got it from limewire just go into the{limewire) library and delete it from there,it should then be gone. Hope this is helpful.Do not touch ms dos unless you know what you are doing,you will seriously balls up your pc!

no restart ur pc as pc is starting up keep hitting on F8 .key ur come a a menu hit on safemode then hit enter key 2 times . wait for pc to go to login screen hit on ur user account when at desktop right hit on that file delete it empty da. recycle bin then restart ur pc again
