I'm going on a road trip with my cousin and my best friend in June. We're spending one night in Williamsburg, VA, 3 nights in Knoxville,TN, 5 nights in Nashville,TN, 3 nights in Memphis, TN, and another 3 nights in Williamsburg, VA. I need ideas of places to visit, restaurants to eat at, etc. Anyone have any suggestions or places we can't miss while we're there?

im guessing you are old enough to go to bars if you are going on that long of a road trip.
in Nashville, you will definitely want to check out the downtown. Broadway and 2nd Avenue especially. Franklin, a small town about 30 mins outsdide of Nashville is so cute. You will want to go to Downtown Franklin. They have cute shops and little restaurants. The Opry Mills mall is not too impressive. It's far away and a little on the trashy side- more outlet stores than regular. If you want an upscale mall go to The Green Hills Galleria. There's always the Country Music Hall of Fame which is downtown. In mid-town there is Centennial Park which has The Parthenon..an exact replica! Athena inside as well. Usually has art shows going on inside as well! Have fun!

In Williamsburg, VA, you can't miss Busch Gardens. Also, Colonial Williamsburg is a good site. Not far away in Jamestown, VA, are replicas of the first ships that landed in the new world. There is also an outlet mall in Williamsburg. Norfolk, VA is home of the US Navy and is about 45 minutes away.
I really had a blast at Busch Gardens. It is a mock up of Europe in the 1500's. It's a quaint village full of old houses. It really takes you back in time. There is an Oktoberfest Beer Hall with Amheiser-Busch beer, plus the roller coasters and other rides are great.

I was in the area of Williamsburg this past summer (newport news to be exact) and had a blast in Virginia Beach which is about 45 minutes from Williamsburg. There are all kinds of shops and hotels all along the beach. We had a great time, I would highly recommend it.

If your into country music consider the Grand Ole Opry which is playing downtown at the historical Ryman Auditorium until about March and then it will be back to its normal location at the Grand Ole Opry® House between the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center and Opry Mills Mall. The Opry House is the modern day location of the Opry, seats 4400, and was built in 1974

If your into symphony music, Nashville has a brand new state of the art symphony hall. One of the remarkable features of this new hall is that the hall has electronically removable seats that store itself into the basement of the facility, exposing a full size elegant dance hall floor. It's awesome sight to see.

The Grand Ole Opry Museum. (Sorry no website)
This attraction is often missed by most visitors to Nashville. Located behind Opry mills mall is the Opryhouse. If you walk to the right of the Opryhouse, there is a courtyard with the Acuff theater located to the rear of the courtyard. Next to the Acuff theater is the Grand Ole Opry Museum. Admission price: Free (cant beat that price). Hours of operation Mon.-Sat. 10am-5pm. Sunday 12pm-5pm.
One last attraction to see is the Broadway and 2nd street areas of downtown Nashville. That's were lots of the bars and gift shops are located. The entertainment district if you will.
