I've got a bokin, a shanai, and a jo. I used to have a bo (it is sort of like a naginada) but I had to leave it at my old dojo when I moved to France 20 years ago.
Hmmm, does a butcher knife count?

If , and I'm sure most people do consider a knife to be a weapon , then yes, I have several in my house. I do not and would not own a gun , my intent, even under extreme duress, would not be to kill. It can happen even when just damage is intended as I well know . Since my brother-in-law shot and killed his own son.I will go when God takes me ,but I will never kill.

I have my old service weapon a . 38 special and a Italian over and under shotgun behind the bedroom door. Anything that can be used to defend yourself, or used to perpetrate a crime can be considered a weapon.
