put interest in them, ask them questions about them, people love to talk about themselves and when they share really listen, and try to be as laid back as possible, don't show too much interest you should be fine

Just smile and say hello... or maybe good morning to them. Most people will be glad that you spoke to them in an attempt to start a conversation. It also helps to have an idea of what you want to talk about in your mind beforehand. (That will help with awkward silences) Also, watch your body language. Don't fidget or look away when talking to someone, this makes you look uninterested. Lastly, talk TO them, not AT them. By this I mean, face them when speaking, don't cut them off and don't lose eye contact. Good luck...

Just be yourself, you can't GET anyone to like you. Quiet people are quite fascinating. The less you talk is better at times. But I never try to impress people, it usually makes you look like an a** kisser

The first thing is to greet the persons while introducing yourself this gives the other person a connection with you. After that lock that persons name into your memory by repeating it back so that you know you heard it correctly. After that find out about that person and what they are into. (People are happy to talk about themselves).

You should just be yourself. The worst thing you can do is try to hard to get him to notice you. That will only push him away. Talk to him like you have known him for years. I mean, you have to have the same confidence when talking to him as you would have talking to one of your male/female friends that you've known for years. Just be confident, not to confident but don't appear to be childish.

Have confidence! People can somehow sense when someone's insecure, so the same way you give off that shy and insecure vibe, do the opposite. If you're confident people can tell.
My advice: Fake it ' til you make it!

Ask them a sincere question that calls for them to give you their opinion. Wait for their answer. All of it.
Chatty can become superficial too easily.

Just be yourself and approach them and just talk to them like they are your friend and take it step by step and see what happens, get to know that person first before you make any decisions.
