economic slavery- what i mean is people who have to work because they have to support themselves and family. they r forced to work because they need things like insurance, food, clothing. and cannot obtain it for free. or people who think they need things because the media tells us we do. i had to work because i was going to have a baby. i didn't want to but really didn't have a choice because i needed to provide for him. i now am a stay at home mom, who works from home. my 'husband' has to work because neither of us have a higher education and he is apt to make more $ than i because he can do labor jobs wich pay more. i don't want him to work, he doesn't want to work but we have to because we live in this country. i wish his son could see him more.i suppose we could set up a clubhouse on some unregulated land... and hunt squirrels... just wondering on the views of others.

Define economic slavery. Do you mean people that have to work for another person to get money? That would not be slavery to me.

A person forced to work because they owe money to someone? That depends. Is it done in a legal context? I knew a person who had to work two jobs to pay for the multiple children from multiple ex-wives. That is not slavery. Is it a person who owes money and is being forced to work in a non-legal manner? Such as a coyote bringing someone over and forcing them to work in a field picking vegetables and hand over all the money. That is wrong, I am against that.

Before I can share my views, I would need to know exactly what you mean by economic slavery. All slavery has economic implications so any slavery can be considered economic slavery.
