Wouldn't it be sweet if we ALL just stopped caring about minorities and majorities? I mean, how about some genuine equality! Where is the 'enough is enough' line? how many thousands of years of race and gender discrimination do intelligent people have to look at before we're all thoroughly embarrassed and quit it? Why care any more or less about anyone based on race? it's as mindless as judging someone by their telephone number.

The people who discriminate against certain groups will not hesitate to discriminate against you too.
Those who are discriminated against will fight back, against everyone who they feel wronged them.
My person answer is not to care about the discrimination that others do, but to make sure I don't discriminate. To understand that sometimes I believe things that are wrong, to question and learn. To have the courage not to condemn people I disagree with, but to express my opinion in the face of someone who discriminates against others.
I would like to point out that I am a white male from, and a citizen of a first world country. Even so I have faced every imaginable form of discrimination in the world (including being born a stateless person, being denied work for being a man, being harrassed for being a man etc).
I work for a world where no one ever has to face such things.

Because some day if discrimination is aloud to prosper you'll too be in the firing line. Where it starts is a slippery slope to where it ends. Would you want discriminated against because you have blue eyes or because you are 5'1'' ?

Becasue one day, you may find yourself in the minortity, and want to be treated fairly. Just because you are the majority now, doesn't mean your status cannot change.
Further, if you think about it, we all face discrimination in one way or another.
You should be concerned about all discrimination, because it may affect you one day, or your friends, loved ones, or neighbors.

You should care because you are a human being and should have compassion towards others.

You should care for anyone who is treated unfairly...
It's common sense if you have a heart.
