Yes, Christmas to me is seeing my children and family smiling when they open a gift from me! The down side? I go really broke for 3 months a year, but it is well worth it when they open their gifts and we eat all day long on good homecooked food! I have even bought gifts for a couple friends that I have met online! Giving IS a gift to me!

I really believed at one time!
in fact i believed everything i was taught
but than i came to a point in my studies that showed the contradictions of two opposing beliefs. Than i had to study and pray to discern between the two.
One day i beheld a vision of an angel, SO i no longer believed but KNEW that there MuST be a God. Then, on anothe day i beheld another vision of Jesus, and a second and a third! than truly i knew there MUST be a GOD because I beheld the glory of Christ!

it was a blessing for Jesus to give the vision. it was a GREAT DAY to receive the vision and the truth. But there is no way I can give something greater than what i received. therefore it was Better to Recieve for that experience.

if someone can believe my words and my testimony than maybe it would be greater to give and share my testimony.
However, I have had many gifts in the world that was greater than anything i could give, but when i have given somethings I have always exalted in the spirit that I could give something away that others enjoyed.

I sure do. It's the way I was brought up and the way God wants us to be. I obtain a much greater satisfaction in giving. Besides, I've got too much junk now anyway, that I'm trying to get rid of. I don't need any more. You're probably referring to Christmas presents, right? I don't want any more poinsettias, fruit cakes, Christmas mugs, hard candy, fudge, clothes that don't fit or are not what I'd normally wear, knick-knacks, calendars, items that have obviously been re-gifted cast-offs or white elephants that no one else wants. I'd much rather give food or cash to the needy. You can believe this or not, but frankly I don't care either way what you believe.

Most of the time! I love to give and see the reactions on the faces of those who are receiving; especially when it is unexpected and when it's children!
