You have a good point. When my son was in kindergarten it was half Spanish and half English. My son is half in half Mex and white. I notice my child was not learning. I went to the school and I set in his class room and it was ridicules how the teacher was teaching. I was mad. I told them I wanted my child in a all speaking English class and guess want there was none. My child learned nothing in kindergarten the time he got to the first grade he was lost he had to repeat the first grade. And that was 15 yrs ago. And still nothing has changed. Whats really going on.

Children who do not speak our language go to public schools so they can learn it. Why would that be a problem for you? If you were in a foreign country and didn't even know how to ask where the nearest restroom was, and knew you had to live there, wouldn't you make a stab at learning the language? Hopefully, the denizens of that country wouldn't be adverse to paying taxes to educate an English-speaking ignoramus so he could at least ask where the mens room was. You get my drift?

You I believe have already made up your mind... But I will bite anyway. Isn't America the land of opportunity for all? P.S. I am a Canadian... I have no regrets that Canadian educators spend resources helping all... including new Canadians. Perhaps Canada is a better "land of opportunity. Your viewpoint does not reflect the norm of Canadian values.

They're legally entitled to public education. It's the govt's responsibility to coordinate the resources to make sure everybody gets a fair share. Any complaint about resource distribution? Call your lawmaker but remember, education is still cheap compared to lack of education. Don't be short-sighted.

Anyone who can't speak English should be kicked out of this country. They shouldn't go to our schools or breathe our air.
