Mapping the Heavens: The Art and Science of Astronomy

Written in the Stars: Unlocking the Secrets of the Universe

I never saw a moor,
I never saw the sea;
Yet now I know how the heather looks,
And what a wave must be.

I never spoke with God,
Nor visited in Heaven;
Yet certain am I of the spot
As if the chart were given.

Well, I'm not sure if it fits to the contents of your work but what do you think of a quotation of Plato?

"Astronomy compels the soul to look upwards and leads us from this world to another."

Plato, Greek author & philosopher in Athens (427 BC - 347 BC)

obviously you haven't given enough clue for me to help you. What exactly in astronomy are you interested in? have you also though about how you'll collect data and how to analyze them? if all these are factored in then you might be able to sharpen your topic. what about' ' towards a critical evaluation of astronomical treatise"?
