Dumb question.
You can be a member of the KKK and love America.
You can be a communist and love America.
You can be an anarchist and love America.

Pretty easy. I believe a socialist democracy is what our founding fathers had in mind. Not a Republic. Which is what we have now. And is what Rome was.
Why not make every vote count? Take away the electoral college so that a man that does not represent the will of the majority does not get elected president.
Why not a universal health care program? With all the welfare and medicare programs we could phase out it would pay for itself and everyone could have access to quality health care. The models are already in place.
I think to many people confuse modern Socialism with Communism or Marxism.....two very different forms of government.

You can be anything and still love America. Just know that you can not make America a socialist country. It is not designed that way and too many people love the way it is designed.
Be whatever you want, but don't force everyone else to be that way too just because you, in your infinite wisdom, think you know what is best for everyone else.

Because this is a Socialist country. Any government program that helps the people can be classified as socialist. Last time I checked there were hundreds of government social programs.

It's patriotic to help those in need. Even if you have to shave a bit off your own income to do so.
I would pay a lot more than an increase in tax dollars to help a needy family who needs healthcare or presents near the holidays. No amount of money is worth others suffering. Even though Wall Street may have you fooled otherwise.

america is a place and an idea based on freedom. it can be loved by any socialist for its potential. it was never supposed to be a place with such structural inequalities and a rich elite gradually eroding the rights and wealth of the people.
