Anybody got a minute? I got problems uploadin a pic on myspace?

Yeah its sayin "There was an error:
Your upload has timed out.
Please try again." What that supposed to mean? You got a time limit or somethin?

Sounds like the picture you are trying to upload is to large. I would suggest resizing it to be no larger than 200 k and try it again, if that does not work try to make it even smaller.

Another problem could be that you are trying to upload a file format that myspace does not use. I would see what kind of images type they allow to be uploaded ie jpeg, gif, psd.

There is a time limit set by the myspace servers in which it will either accept or discard a data packet or packets (i.e. your image).

What it means is that either your PC (more specifically your network connection) is taking too long to upload the image or, more likely, Myspace.com is having problems bringing your image into their servers.

By having problems, I don't mean your image is corrupted or a bad file but rather that their servers are overwhelmed with traffic of other myspace users or software problems and its not allowing your image to be brought into their servers quick enough to be accepted.

actually i often get this problem while uploading my pictures on hi5(its same as myspace) and it only happens to the pictures i take wit my web cam...so wat i do is quite a long process but it works...well i entered another site (www.tagged.com) and i made myself a member...then i uploaded the pictures i wanted to put on myspace but which actually wasnt working, and on zat site it works...zen i save the pictures i'v put in my TAGGED gallery agn...zen i use zem to put on myspace...ouffff...quite long, but it wrks...
