I need the best exchange rate

Most banks will do it for you. If all else fails, they should have a currency exchange at Logan International Airport, but their rates would probably be the worst. A bank is your best bet, and shopping for the best exchange rate will probably be a waste of time since the banks usually use the same exchange rate or are within 2 cents on the dollar of each other.

Most big banks will exchange foreign currency, but you can also go to Logan Airport, they have a Travelex Foreign Exchange Booth there as well as a bunch of other banks.

Seaport Hotel in Boston does exchange (617) 385-4000 as does the Westin Waltham-Boston Hotel at 70 3rd Ave, Waltham, MA (781) 290-5600

Not sure which will give you the best rate, but I'm sure if you called some of these places, they'd be happy to help.

At almost any office of Federally charted, or state-chartered in interstate commerce, banks. I do not know which would give you the best exchange rate, but one of the larger banks having many Boston offices is Canadian owned: TD Banknorth.

Your bank should be able to exchange the money for you - I don't know if that gives you the best exchange rate, however.
