How come people care wether or not your going with someone thats your race? I mean, I like alot different raced people! I like a white boy right now and all of my friends are acting stuck up towards me now and are saying things like. " Your going to start acting white and preppy now!!!" How does anyone act WHITE? I dont believe that you can actually ACT a certain RACE!!! Who else agrees with me on this or are they right? Is this why alot of different raced people dont like african americans?

First off, you really shouldn't care what they say just because people will be people! They will talk about things that they have no business talking about, they just like to talk about life that isn't in just black and white! And NO, your not the only one who has went through this and thinks this way! Their are actually alot of MATURE people that think just like you do and I too believe that their isn't a way to ACT like a certain RACE! Who thinks that??? It's crazy! This is one of the reasons why people cannot already be themselves, because they get accused of trying to act like something in which they didn't intend to do! How do you act black? By wearing baggy clothes??? NO! That's just saying that black people are somewhat "bummish"! How do you act white? BY wearing preppy clothes and being an all american girl? NO! That's just saying that white people are somewhat "stuck-up-goody-2-shoes"! I HATE it when people put others in stereotypes! It sucks but that's the way life is and will be for a very long time! And about your "friends" forget them cause if they were real they would stick with you until the end!

To a certain extent they are right. There really is way to act like different races. For example the way you dress can alter how people perceive you. Typicly if you wear baggy clothes then your acting black, or if you wear prepy clothes then your white. Same goes for how you talk. Its basically just stereotyping. People love to do it and they can't help it. You either have to stand up for what think is right or deal with antagonising pain of peer pressure.

People are afraid of "different". To cover up they say nasty things about them and act snobby and all. I definitely agree that you can't "Act" a different race we were all created people after all!

You are tolerant. That is good enough, and if you believe people shouldn't care about racial difference, stick to that belief. Your "friends" can get stuffed.

Not all of them are racists,some are not 4 example me...i'm not a racist and my g/f is white i don't care.
