Theres a little place off Freedom Pky called Two Urban Licks. An old factory turned into a very cool place to eat. They serve every type of food, and the menu changes every night. In house brewery plus a live band equals a great place.

Go to The Varsity which is the largest drive-in in the world.
For seafood, the best is Six Feet Under. It gets its name from being next to a cemetery. It's just a quaint place with wonderful food.
For evening dining you have to try Houlihans for steaks.
Don't forget to try Mick's in Underground Atlanta.
If you like Tex-Mex, the best place is Pappasitos Cantina.
It just all depends on what kind of food you like.
My favorite place to eat in Atlanta is Pappasitos.
