those wii things???

Question

does anyone have one of those wii things and are they good??? how much do they cost and where do you get them???
sorry i know its a lot to ask, but they were talking about them on HEART this morning and just wanted some more opinions etc.

I have not got one yet i am awaiting on mine it has been pre ordered and just awaiting stock. They are absolutly awsome the controls are different you can actually interact on games with the wii unlike other consoles, also you can download all the old nintendo games to play too so if you are the kind of person who liked the old nintendo games i would strongly advise one, i have got an xbox 360 and am awaiting on the wii

They cost £179 for the basic one and the games are around £40 each

At the moment the only place you can get them from is off ebay where you will end up paying around £500 which as you can see is a whole lot more than the retail sale price, As from mid January they should be avaliable to buy in the shops ( any computer shop will stock them, Argos, Woolworths ect ) They are a huge hit and will completely hammer the xbox 360 and i'de even say it will over take the PS3 when that comes out.

hey dude, i bought a ps2 a couple of years ago and it was my first games console. I had Duke Nukem on for about 5 minutes and it made my eyes go funny and gave me the worst headache I've ever had. I know not everyone is the same but I don't think them things are good for you.
Buy a decent stereo and annoy the neighbours. Merry Christmas.

The Wii is designed by Nintendo and is one of the best family consoles ever. It has some really good games and is the least expensive and has really good features. They cost around 250 new at any Walmart, Kmart, Target ect. ect.....in my opinion they are the best

Wii is awesome. That's all there is to say.

They cost $249.99 and you can get them at pretty much any electronic store or general retailer.

I played Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on both Gamecube and Wii. Wii makes it sooo much better.

Hmm its a new idea which is why people buy it but apart from the new controls its just the same as a ps2 or xbox. You'd probably be better off with the xbox 360 or ps3. But looks fun for parties.
