When you appear in court, dress up in a suit or a shirt, tie and slacks. Express to the judge that you are sorry for what you did, that you do not intend on doing it ever again, and show that you are remorseful. And if they go easy on you and let you do community service, you better be the first one there and the last one to leave. And when you do the work, work hard.. be very energetic and work as if your ability to stay out of jail depended on it... work like bubba is right behind you waiting for you to go to the prison. Call your case worker twice a day and remind him that this is the last time you plan on getting into trouble. Treat this whole entire situation as if you are on the virge of going to prison and that you really do not want to go.

I think you should stop worrying so much about court and start worrying about the rest of your life this is the time your at the fork in the road. Give it some thought about how worried you are right now was the weed and drinking worth it because you might walk out of court free of any consequences or you might walk out with something on your record that will keep you on this road your exploring. Another ten or twenty years of weed and drinking you might realize you chose the wrong road, yes you might get another chance at a different path a lot of us have but the prisons are full of people who didn't. Go to court, you might be wise to take that court appointed lawyer and what ever happens I hope you decide to give yourself a good life.

Your dad and brother are law enforcement officials? Yeah perfect. Why not ask them instead of a set of strangers? the babies have been ingesting extra suitable than probably or the cop does not have pushed the project that some distance. Why not admit it, take care of the outcomes and flow on together with your life? An underage ingesting cost isn't that intense. instruct them extra duty and the hazards of ingesting. do not comprehend why your in denial of this enormously because of the fact it style of feels your newborn did not drink. They weren't sorting out for sobriety so no checks have been mandatory. in the event that they simply had a sip, they're to blame of underage ingesting. The officer could probably scent it on anybody. does not take a genius to come to a decision what they have been as much as.

It never hurts to discuss the matter with a lawyer, as they can often find loopholes or errors made by the police to overturn the charge. They should not bring up any other past incidents, especially if there were no charges or convictions. Last bit of advice, grow up and quit with the illegal stuff. What you do now could affect the rest of your life.

You need a lawyer, but it will cost you. The legal system will burn and abuse you in the worst ways if you are not represented. A good lawyer ensures that you will be treated fairly and can oftentimes work with the prosecutor to have your charges dropped or reduced.
A friend (with a lawyer) in similar circumstances agreed to pay a fine ($500) and all charges were dropped. Granted her lawyer charged $115/hour.

Stop drinking. It is simple. For a first offense you will just get a slap on the wrist. I wouldn't bother with a lawyer but a public defender may be of use if you were being a jerk.

Yes, you need a lawyer. Don't go in there alone - if you can't afford a lawyer, talk to the public defenders office. At least they can give you some good advice.
Be careful out there -

I strongly recommend a lawyer. Also, i would recommend that you seek help through Rehab. Now i am not calling you a druggy or an alcoholic. But, If you tell the judge that your seeking help and ask him for it, he might be leniant toward your case. Let him know how sorry you are and you ARE willing to recieve treatment. It will be the best option for you i believe. Best of luck to you

Just pay the damn fine. Also, try not to get caught for so much crap! Don't take your own vehicle to a party. That way you can bolt out the back door, or hide in a closet, and your car wont be sitting in the driveway. Best wishes.

Get a good lawyer- sounds like you're going to need it. As for advice- only the lawyer can tell you your options.
