Yes, buy him something to cheer him up. There aren't too many ex's that would even care and I'm happy that you're willing to help put a smile on his face.

I think as long as you guys have gotten past any negative feelings about the divorce and your life together, and are friends, a present would be a great way to show that you care about him and his feelings!
Just because its an ex doesn't mean he is completely out of your life, obvious by your question also.

you need to tell him very tactfully that you savour his kindness and and deliberating you, yet you do not experience good about persevering with to settle for the presents. It it not incorrect in any respect. besides the indisputable fact that it sounds like he loves you in a fashion you do not reciprocate. that's strange that he'd do it now, yet not beforehand.
