i have gotten a ipod nano 4gb for christmas ( im not stupid i know what i got ) and someone keeps telling me the ipod nano doesnt play videos. i keep telling them it does because then there wouldnt be a difference between the ipod and a mp3 player. he also keeps telling me that his mp3 plays videos. who is right plz tell me.

i dont thnk that nano plays videos. to be sure u can check out the specs on www.apple.com/ipodnano/ it does do pics tho. and to find out if his doesvideo u need to get the specific type he has and look up the specs on it.

The iPod nano does NOT play videos.
You need an iPod Video in order to play videos. Especially those sold by Apple.
However, if you have the will and the guts to destroy your iPod totally, then you can install Linux on your iPod and run the iPodLinux Video Player on it and watch certain versions of AVI files on the system. You will NOT be able to download stuff from iTunes and watch it on the unit though...

The Ipod Nano doesn't play videos. It only plays music. The package should say what it does.

i have a nano, and im afraid it doesnt play videos! But Ipod does make them were they play videos... there usually lieke 40GB though.
