No all humans have similar brain power ranges because they are human. Women are generally more wired to PRACTICE approaching answers by how they believe they will make others feel (IE saving feelings and promoting themselves socially) while men are more wired toward logic (how will things effect logically IE stock market and promoting themselves competitively in sports and with money/women, among other things).

However the fact women get more sophisticated styles for emotional issues than men and vice-versa for logic issues with men, the fact is, from birth, men and women do not start with better "brainpower" in either area, they just get better at what they practice. And most women, because they are wired for such prefferences chemically and influenced to fulfill them socially, choose to "practice emotionally" while most men choose to "practice rationally/logically".

So if a man really wanted to become a social expert and/or social worker type and a woman really wanted to become a scientist they could do so equally well as the other sex could.

Most "women can never be as good as men at..." stereotypes and vice-versa (men never can be good as women) come from narrow-minded people who are scared of competition from the other sex. The only exceptions of a woman's life-long abilities being assigned are things like their being able to become pregnant while men can't (obviously) and that men in general have about 40% more muscle mass than women and, thus, by and large are better at most strength-related sports.
Other than that we all need to stop being haters and dividing the sexes (I don't even think calling men and women by sex has a purpose outside sexual situations and sports)...so many of are wasting a whole lot of resources, time, and brainpower over the fact we won't admit, for the most part, we're all human and that is the end of it.

The real answer - which you've all been waiting your entire lives for.

If you measure the intelligence of thousands of women, you end up with results quite bunched up in the middle. There aren't all that many super-dumb ones (after all, the proverbial village idiot is not often a woman), and nor are there many ultra-intelligent women (97% of Nobels won by men - it's not *all* social factors/discrimination; your car, television, telephone, computer, perfume, coffee and tampons and sanitary towels were invented by men). An average woman, or a quite intelligent one, can multitask; she can nurse a child, while calculating her tax return, while watching Oprah, while on the phone to her ma.....

If you measure the intelligence of thousands of men, the results show a wider spread: from village idiot to Nobel prize-winner (good name for a biography). This wide spread is why I think women are unhappy in the dating game: they just want a reasonable guy, and it seems some gals have found amazing men; others find the dregs. There aren't enough average guys in the world.

Yes, a woman has much more brain power than lots of men - she can multi-task but it takes many men to do the same jobs she does on her own at the same time.

Scientifically no, but they process information differently than men in general especially in math and science. And they are less inclined to follow a logical equation to a correct solution preferring a more emotional approach to the correct answer.
