I think he's got at least another 7 years left in him. He hasn't missed a single game due to injuries. He's going to be a quarterback like Brett Favre...able to stay pretty much as long as he wants. With the way that Peyton practices and studies, I think he'll still be at almost the top of his game when he's close to retiring.
I don't think I've ever seen any other NFL player with that much drive to win. It's too bad the rest of the Colts players don't all have that same drive, otherwise the Colts would have several Super Bowl titles by now.
Eli will probably retire before Peyton does.

Seeing as though I am a Green Bay Packers fan who has had to deal with premature talks of Favre's retirment for the past three or four years now, I would maybe be a little more tight lipped about discussing Manning's retirement, which should be absolutely nowhere in the near future. Enjoy having the best QB in the league with by far the best WR Tandem in the league while you do. Manning will win a Super Bowl and he likely will pass Favre for all the QB Records (maybe not the consecutive games record though). Sports fans are always so worried about the future that you wonder if you even enjoy it when a team is winning or if you are more worried about what they are going to do the next year or when this guy or that guy is going to retire. It is entertainment. Manning is entertaining and the Colts are one of the top 3 teams in the league. Enjoy it!

Manning needs to play as long as is humanly achievable. i understand he may be going downhill, yet he remains a hell of a QB, and with out him the Colts may be in a severe seize 22 issue. Manning IS the Colt. with out him, they have extraordinarily a lot no longer some thing. O-line's undesirable (as real Jeff Saturday, he's beast. i understand they don't grant up too many sacks, yet it is by technique of making use of Peyton, no longer them), receivers are rather really hardship-free, a manufactured from Manning. operating decrease decrease back is robust yet no longer sufficient to carry up his crew. danger-free practices lacks too plenty. Manning is extremely the only reason the Colts can do some thing.

I think he'll play a while longer- although I do not think it will be a Favresque type career. He is kind of gangly and unathletic, so probably he will begin to have injury probs crop up in the not so distant future. Undoubtedly he'll net a lucrative broadcasting job. I really hate Manning. Watching him go to the center, back up, give instructions, go back to center, look over the defense, raise up, give more instructions- good god just snap the dang ball already.

Hopefully never.....I know silly and wistful thinking....But i just LOVE watching the guy. Its going to be just like Favre nobody will ever want him to retire. But im thinking at least 7 years...the guy still has tons and tons left in the tank.......And I play to enjoy him for as long as he plays.......How about 10 years?.....

Pretty quick, Peyton and Tiki will get jobs on the ESPN show PTI.
Cause they both know they will never win the Super Bowl.

NOT BE4 HE WINS A SUPERBOWL. AFTER THAT I'D SAY HE WON'T PLAY MORE THAN 7 TO 9 SEASONS. IF HE HASN'T WON A SUPERBOWL BY THEN HE MAY GO TO A TEAM AS A BACKUP AND JUST WAIT AROUND ON THE BENCH AND GET A SUPERBOWL RING.
