Is it acceptable to seperate someone's name for example, If I was writing a person's name, could I write it like this........ . Joseph
Richardson . Would it be acceptaple to seperate the first name from the last name or must they both names appear on the same line?

I learned - way back in the day - that you're supposed to keep the name on one line. But I don't see the newspapers or magazines abiding by it any more, so I don't see any problem in separating them.

You should keep things like "Mr. Smith", "Dr. Johnson" or
"Ms. Jones" on the same line, however.

I believe the name is suppose to be on the same line unless you are using it in a sentence. However there have been times when addressing envelopes and first names were so long I had to put their last name on a second line. I hope this helps.

I hate it when that happens but it is acceptable for the names to appear on 2 lines.

If a line break occurs there, it's not a problem. But youshould not seperate it by creating a newline for that purpose.

It should appear on the same line,Joseph Richardson,seems if it
is on two different lines it looks like two different people.

usually same line if you wanna go real techniqual its last name then first name

I don't think it really matters, as long as it's capitalized like that.
