to all astrology believers?

Question

why do people look to astrology for help on the future, i got my reading and what she told me has never happened, and that was 2 years ago. if any of you people believe that astrology readings can help your life be much more richer and fuller then feel free to tell me why you feel that way about it, because to me its just entertainment, and a way to fill in time. but i do believe in one thing, im an aries and my horoscope is always right, but in astrology predictions i find no use for them, feel free to give me your opinion because they matter

I don't know "who" gave you a reading, but this is the kind of ridiculous claim (you and your alleged 'astrologer') that reveals a total lack of understanding.

Astrology is a framework, not a divinging rod. There is no way you went through a year without the internal and exteneral forces represented by your various houses and transits happening. It's simply not possible if you a human.

What astrology can do, is direct your focus away from purely egoistic driven conciousness where you miss things--challenges, opportunities--or enable to to recognize events/things/etc that you cannot control. Astrology also reinforces the idea that you are evolving spiritually, emotionally, and mentally (and if you use it, you will be evoloving rather than being stuck).

I know what you mean. Astrology is very complicated and confusing to people who are ignorant of the scientific aspects. I've been studying it for over 30 years. Everything I read about my sign (Aquarius) is about 95% me. But I have a twin sister and none of it is true for her. We are alike night and day. So why doesn't it represent her if we have almost identical charts, right?

Yep, it's entertaining mostly. I don't live my life by my horoscope.

Usually Astrology is just a bunch of mumbo crap. However, I read astrology and the charts occasionally because it gives you POSSIBLE scenarios you might have to face or encounter at any point in your life. And it also gives you a view point on maybe how to deal with it. That's me though..

I sort of believe in astrology. I dont completley let me life depend on Horoscopes though. When i read my horoscope, i look at what it is right about and change that area of my life to the better.

I just sort of agree with horoscopes, not deicate my life towards them. Your life is in the your hands, not the stars. Im sure that your life is wonderful without those horoscope stuffers.

Astrology is not meant to be used for prediction.

It's all about getting to know yourself, who you are and how you function with others in society. To know ones self is part of earning success in ones life.

Looking at your date of birth and how the planets have influenced you/your life just helps you understand yourself better.

I feel the same way. Me to an arieas. I think they are things that every one can relate to in one way or another.
