ive installed a webcam onto my computer and used the disc to install it properly, but when I plug it in, the computer says that it isnt recognised and I cant use it. Please help because I know that it works. I have used it on another computer and it works fine. Only serious answers please!!

OK then, here are the proper instruction's to install a webcam on to your computer,
1. Install the software first and follow the on screen instructions.
2. During software installation you are prompted to connect the camera's USB cable to the computer's USB port.
wait until you receive the software prompt BEFORE inserting the cable into the computer's USB port.
complete software and hardware installation.
and that's all you have to do to install a webcam on to a computer. once you have plugged the camera in don't keep on unplugging it.

first uninstall the drivers and the software for the webcam. than plug the webcam in and it iwll say new hardware found, at this time install the drivers. let me know if u need more help

You may need to reinstall the driver. When you go into properties search for the driver. If its not listed, right click on the mouse and press reinstall driver or update driver and go from there.

The same thing happened to me so I hope this works.

1.Read user manual.
2.reinstall your drivers and softwares.
3.Check webcam and computer settings.
4.Take it to somebody who can fix it.

If nothing happens buy a new one
