Carmelo is not even close to the next MJ.
And right now, no one in the league is close to MJ. Basketball has always been a sport that consists of consistant play, intensity, team work, and art. Maybe MJ wasnt always the best team player, but he did what he did for many years at such a high level. And he changed the whole face of the game.
Carmelo isn't even on pace with MJ. The closest thing we have to a MJ right now is LBJ.

Good Lord No!! That is like comparing a koala bear to a killer whale!
Melo couldn't carry MJ's jock strap in a briefcase!!!
The only man who even has a chance, someday, of even coming close to MJ is Lebron.

hell no, you could call Lebron or Dewayne the next Jordan but not Carmelo, he has some growing up to do and he needs to improve his performances on the court....

Used to think Vince Carter was the next Jordan, but now I think it's LeBron James without a doubt.

I can understand why you would ask this question, but I think Lebron James might be a better match to MJ.

Of course not. Melo is a great player but even with patented shoe by his likeness, he still couldn't fill those shoes.
