There's a direct train, but it takes forever (I've done it). Flying from Orly to Frankfurt would be quicker.

If flying isn't an option fo you, try the Thalys.
http://www.thalys.com
Take it to Koln (Cologne), and then a short regional train ride to Frankfurt.

For trains: www.sncf.fr and www.tgv.fr
For airplanes, try of course Air France and Lufthansa, but try also low cost airlines like Easy Jet, Ryan Air and similar.

I would fly, cost about the same and takes 1/10 the time.
I found tickets for December from Euro 54- 71, one way.

Drive, you can make it in about 5 hours and its a pretty cool ride. I made it in about 6 on the way back though, traffic can sometimes be rough.
