Well prom is formal I would wear heels, and long legs in heel, some women kill for that.
I say heels would look great!
Have fun at your prom!

Ballet flats are always more formal than sandals. A really nice pair of ballet flats will look so feminine that it make your legs more beautiful then the boy will not care at al about your height

If your Prom is anything like mine was, you'll be taking off your heels (if you wear them) once you start dancing anyways. I wouldn't wear ballet shoes unless they really look like shoes. If your date is much taller than you, then don't be afraid to wear some heels and express your height. If he's as tall or shorter than you, you may want to find some flats. Have fun!

There is nothing more sexy than long legs in heels.
Flats and especially ballet flats are going to make you look like a little girl.
Why does it bother you to be tall and skinny?
If you are worried about being taller than your date in pictures, I would take them off.
But I would be showing what your momma gave ya, sweetie!
Havent you been watching Americas Top Model??

If your dress will hide the shoes, feel free to wear ballets. They are more for comfort than looks. You can purchase a pair at www.PromDressShop.com or better yet, they have flats that are satin (a little bit dressier).

Flats are totally fine, if you can find ones that match nicely.

You can find flat shoes with pretty ribbons that tie up your legs. Have a look at these- they are both available in red.

That's linked to the UK site, but if you're in America you can change the currency.

wear whatever you think looks better. but you're most likely gonna take them off anyway, so it doesn't really matter. but heels do tend to make your legs look better (pictures...)
